Participating as a Special Event Sponsor in one of the many concerts series or markets hosted by the Town of Oak Island is a great way to generate awareness of your business, group, or civic organization.

Events List & Calendar

Administrative Offices CLOSED for Thanksgiving

  • Date: 11/26/2020  (all day)

The Town of Oak Island wishes all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.  

PLEASE NOTE: Administrative Offices for the Town of Oak Island will be CLOSED on Thursday & Friday, November 26 & 27, 2020 in observance of Thanksgiving. 
 
The following services and facility schedules will be modified as noted:
  • Police, Fire, and other emergency services will be available, as always by calling 911.
  • The Oak Island Pier will be open during regular hours, both Thursday & Friday.
  • The OKI Par Three Golf Course, will be closed on Thursday, but will reopen on Friday.
  • The Recreation Department will be closed on Thursday & Friday, but will reopen on Saturday.
  • All currently available parks and public access facilities will be OPEN.
