Pedestrian Safety

The Town of Oak Island is continually working to improve access and safety for pedestrian use, and becoming a more "walkable" town.

Town management and staff are working with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, to receive approval and installation of multiple new Sidewalks & Crosswalks.
